HUK-COBURG wanted to further strengthen customer loyalty and gain access to new customer groups by expanding its digital services. An app was needed to provide useful functionality for travellers. A tool to access useful information about international travel integrated in an easy-to-use application.
Neofonie Mobile was commissioned by HUK-COBURG to design and develop the travel app.

The HUK-COBURG health app
The HUK international travel app combines insurance services of HUK-COBURG with important health information about the country of travel in one app. Thus the customer always has vaccination recommendations, checklists and emergency numbers with him. The GPS positioning function also offers quick help in an emergency. The design and implementation focus on fast and easy user guidance. HUK-COBURG has expanded its international travel features to include the premium service “Online consultation hour”. With the help of the app, policyholders can ask questions on health topics or clinical pictures via video or live chat, for example. The app is implemented as a native app for iOS and Android, which works equally well on smartphones and tablets.
